A Chance Encounter
During a recent fundraising event for Young & Healthy, we had the pleasure of meeting Bella. As she browsed through our informational materials, Bella shared her concern about finding new health insurance. Having recently aged out of her parent’s policy, she was eager to explore her options, especially since she wanted to keep her current doctors.
We were more than happy to help! We connected Bella with our dedicated Insurance Specialist, who guided her through the process. After reviewing various insurance plans, we found a solution that worked for her. Although Bella had to switch to a new primary care physician, the new doctor was part of the same practice. This meant Bella’s original doctor could still access her medical records and be consulted on her healthcare decisions.
This chance encounter not only helped Bella find the insurance she needed but also introduced her to the comprehensive services Young & Healthy offers to children and families in our community. It’s moments like these that remind us of the impact we can make together.
