CADDYSHACK – Let’s Par-Tee for Children’s Healthcare
On Saturday, January 26, 2019 Young & Healthy held its annual gala event at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club. The theme was CADDYSHACK and our guests took advantage of the opportunity to dress in their favorite CADDYSHACK golf attire! Golf caps, bright plaid pants and argyle sweaters were a hit and made for some fun photo booth shots!
We are very thankful for this year’s event chairpersons, Carrie Walker and Cristina Navarrete, who worked hard to make the event so successful, raising approximately $300,000. The club was creatively decorated and golf inspired for an evening of food, friends, fun and fundraising for Young & Healthy.
We were proud to honor the DiMassa Family/Summerkids with the Alliance Award and Dr. Janice DaVolio and Dr. Seth Vaccaro with the J. Donald Thomas Award during the event. These awards are given to those whose dedication, perseverance and selfless devotion to the well-being of children exemplify the spirit that led to the founding of our healthcare program over 27 years ago.
Many thanks to those who could attend the gala. We missed our friends who could not participate this year. We hope to see you all next year!
